Salt Glaze

A ceramic tradition dating back to 15th century Germany, salt glaze has long been used as a quick way to glaze ceramic without the need for actual glazes.

Traditional forms such as tankards and jugs are fired in an old electric kiln converted for salt here at The Farmer's Arms to produce wares used in and around the pub.
